Lets Get Started...

This is going to be short being that I need to get some necessary rest before a day at school tomorrow. This blog is for my friends from all over the world who find it hard to keep up with me. I'll be posting different updates on my life and often different thoughts, poems, songs, videos, and pictures. Its just who I am. There will be many updates throughout my summer in Argentina!

Right now I'd like to ask for prayer for a few people who are special to me:

JC Clark and family. JC underwent surgery today and what they were afraid might be another brain tumor, they now think was only scar tissue. Praise the Lord!! Please pray for JC and his family.

James Wages. James has been very sick the past few days. When he finally let his wife Morgan take him to the hospital, his temperature had risen to 105 degrees. James has been fever free for two days now and the doctors sound very promising that he will be able to go home this week.

The family of Jeb Brimm. Jeb went to the ER not feeling well yesterday, the doctors diagnosed him with meningitis and he died this morning.

The family of Steven Lawson. Steven and I have mutual friends and he has attended some of the worship services at the BCM this semester. Steven was killed instantly in a car wreck in Selmer. Please pray for his family and friends. My friends Cole and Austin were very close to Steven and are having a hard time right now with this loss. Austin told me tonight, "Thursday night at the concert, Steven kept saying how he couldn't wait to come to the BCM and worship with all of us again this week."

"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows." 2 Corinthians 1:3-6

God has blessed us all so much by placing such precious people into our lives. Please remember the compassion of Jesus Christ as so many of our friends are hurting. God never said it would be easy or that we would understand His plan. But He does promise us hope and that through it all, His plan is perfect. Let us praise Him for the time we've had with these loved ones and find our hope, compassion, love and comfort in the plans that our Lord has for us all.
